Find the Irony!

"Our respect for human rights requires us to execute him..." - Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, on the upcoming execution of former president Saddam Hussein.

(Not to be picking at them or anything, but I just found it to be a very interesting expression.)

Killing Saddam was just another absurdity

Everything about this war is absurd. The Iraqui people have just leapt headfirst out of the frying pan.

I wonder, how human rights-friendly the next ruler of Iraq is going to be? My money's on theocratic infidel-killer, but I suppose it could always be another fake-republic-leading baby-gasser.
