Another project up on the site

I've migrated a bit more content over from the old site. DirectSetup for Inno (formerly ISX DSetup DLL) is an extension for Inno Setup that allows you to easily integrate DirectX updating to your Inno-based installer. I'm planning to add some more features to the project in the near future.

Alarm Clock update

Alarm Clock 0.5 is coming along slowly but surely. I've been held up by a lack of a dial/knob control for the UI, but I've been playing around quite a bit with the Windows Media Player SDK and making decent enough progress towards adding the "radio" functionality.

BESM Resource Site

Through the White Wolf forums, I found today an excellent BESM website that caters to players of every edition of the game, as well as other products of the late Guardians of Order.

Alarm Clock 0.5.0 released

I've just released version 0.5.0 of Alarm Clock. With this new version, radio functionality has been added, via Windows Media Player playlists. (Mono users will need to have Windows Media Player 9 working under WINE or else it won't run for them. Windows users don't have to worry.) Other changes include a few to the user interface, such as "Set Sound" being moved to the Options dialog, and the on/off button being replaced with something a little more intuitive (I hope).

Alarm Clock 0.6.0, Website Problems

I've just released Alarm Clock 0.6.0, which fixes up most of the regressions created by rewriting the entire thing in C#. As well, there's now the ability to control the radio volume and shuffle the playlist. I'm still working out a few kinks with the installer, but at this time it's more or less feature complete. Now it's time to write some user documentation (if it's really required), add some polish, and fix any pesky bugs that still pop up.

Death Cake Games is UFO Panicking!

People who've known me before the first TOJam back in May 2006 know that I created a game there called Alien Abduction. You'd go around, abducting aliens and blowing up their defensive goats-on-poles (don't ask). After a few minutes, if you weren't blown up first, the game would end with a count of how many aliens you had picked up.
