Over at TIGC, we've announced new dates for the conference. It's been a while in the works, but all sorts of logistical issues (as well as issues with Toast IT) have been holding up the arrangements and announcement. I'm glad that it's finally out of the way, but there's more to come on that front, as well as for Toastmasters.

So I'm going to become the first publisher (and editor) of a newsletter for Area 38 of District 60 (soon, 84) Toastmasters. This will be an interesting experience, for sure! My hope is that by taking on this challenge I can provide more visibility for Toast IT, while building better links with other clubs in the area. If I were working towards my ALS right now, I'd perhaps use this for my High Performance Leadership project. But I'm still just working on my CL.

Going back to TIGC, we're hoping to announce our headlining keynote speaker shortly. And with any luck, our location for the convention! We've been having some trouble locking that down, but hopefully we can iron it out within the next four weeks. I would much have preferred to have had that locked in back before the recent announcement.

I get to relax this weekend, up at the cottage. Chances are that I might have to do some work up there, but even that will be fun, I think!
