I have slain many gods, and before the day is out, many more shall perish.
So... If you've been following my cryptic and infrequently updated Twitter, you might have gotten an inkling that yes, I am once again exercising my writing "skills" and producing yet another fantasy story. It is about the quest of a young man who must do the impossible to save the god he worships.
I haven't given it an actual title yet, but in the absence, I think that "Godswar" shall do – a reference to a piece of history in the story. And, unlike the last story, I'm actually plotting this one out in advance, thanks to advice from various places on the web (not least of which is the website of Holly Lisle) and an interesting freeware tool called SLang.
At some point I might look back at Trollfane and rejig it into what I originally hoped it would be. More likely, I'll spin into a tangent at some point creating a cross-platform, visual graph friendly clone of SLang to make my life easier (oh the irony). But the idea for Godswar has really gripped me, and I want to make the most of it.
