It's here! Publish your photos from Live Photo Gallery to your Drupal website
If you use Windows Live Photo Gallery and publish images to a Drupal-based website, you might be pleased to know that I’ve just made the task of publishing those images a whole lot simpler. Thanks to the first public release of my Drupal Publisher for Live Photo Gallery, publishing images is as simple as highlighting a group, and making a few mouse clicks.
Because this is still a very early release, I haven’t implemented any form of discovery yet. That means you’ll need to determine the URL for your site’s XML-RPC interface page (usually your.site.tld/xmlrpc.php), or if someone else runs the site for you, have them provide you with that information. The site will also need to use a new module, written as the server-side complement of the plugin. The imgblog module implements the SPU interface used for publishing images.
Try it out, and let me know what you think!
Update: The Simple Photo Upload specification is now online.
