New SPU, new Imgblog release

I’ve just put up both the next version of SPU, as well as a new development release of the Imgblog module for Drupal. It doesn’t look like I’ll have a new release of Drupal Publisher ready before I head off for the weekend, but Monday or Tuesday should see an update that adds in the gallery support just added to the spec and implemented in the module.

When I get back from the weekend, I’m also going to look into getting Imgblog into Drupal’s contributed modules repository, thus opening it up to others for development and making releases a lot easier to manage. If it gets accepted (and I don’t see why it shouldn’t, but it’s possible) for the repository it’ll be a bit strange migrating it. Currently I keep the code in a private Subversion repository, but Drupal uses CVS for everything. I don’t know if I’d be able to keep the history in the migration, without some very heavy work. (Lots has been done in migrating from CVS to Subversion, but I’m yet to hear of anyone even attempting it the other way around.)

Anyway, check it out. If there’s any glaring issues, don’t be afraid to shout at me, but you’ll have to do so before 4pm (or hold it until Sunday night).
