Radio Alarm Clock 0.9 released
Following up on yesterday's post, I've just released version 0.9 of Radio Alarm Clock. While there are no new features since the old, old 0.7 release, this new release does provide the new plug-in radio functionality, which means that it'll work on any system that can run Mono 2.0 (although there'll be no radio capability outside of Windows).
As well, this new version resets the automatic alarm shut-off whenever snooze is used. This is how actual alarm clocks do it, counting down from when the alarm starts sounding or whenever the alarm comes out of snooze, rather than X hours from the actual alarm time.
At this point, the only thing missing is cross-platform radio functionality, and I am currently looking at using the Banshee media player to provide that. I'll probably also add UI for choosing a particular radio; currently, the app just checks its .config file and works through a list until it finds one that works (and uses a built-in "null" radio if it finds no working plugin).
